Vinous Antonio Galloni - 01 Jan 19
The 2016 Deyrem Valentin is soft, plush and inviting. Dark cherry, chocolate, new leather, licorice and spice are pushed forward in a silky, supple Margaux that offers tremendous near and medium term appeal. Floral notes add brightness on the finish as the 2016 acquires a bit more finesse with time in the glass.

Inside Bordeaux Jane Anson - 01 Nov 23
Clear liquorice, more so than in the other 2016s in the lineup, with tannic build up and smoky oak influence, dark pepper spice, edges of soy and umami. Damson and black cherry fruits, exuberant, a little overly intrustive in its grilled character that takes away some Margaux signature but an enjoyable wine. Jean Sorge owner, located in the commune of Soussans.
